In the annular section between the inner tube and the inner and outer tubes of a double-tube heat exchanger, hot water and air are flowed under various conditions such as counterflow, parallel flow, laminar flow, and turbulent flow, capturing phenomena such as heat transfer, thermal conduction, and heat penetration numerically to aid in theoretical understanding. In particular, the temperature boundary layer within the air flow region will be measured by traversing at intervals of 1/100 mm.
